Urban Dog Co. is Jersey City/Hoboken's newest and most complete dog/pooch/lap dog/puppy/fur baby - care providers. Urban Dog founder, Jaymie Moran, founded HOB/JC primary and most relied upon dog walking company 15 years ago. In that time Jaymie has helped, literally, hundreds of HOB/JC families care for their pets.

Jaymie originally earned an MBA from NYU and pursued a career in Finance with JPMorgan. However, a fearless Woman Entrepreneur at heart, she followed her passion and her dog walking business quickly became one of Hoboken's most recognized. She and her team of like-minded passionate dog care providers are broadening their paw print by offering HOB/JC a one-stop shop for Dog Grooming/ Dog Walking/ Doggie Day Care (Hoboken location only).

We strive to give each dog who walks through our door not only a fantastic groom, but a comfortable atmosphere too. We are CAGE FREE! Your dog will have dozens (maybe even hundreds) of grooming experiences throughout his/her lifetime, and we believe that each of those should be a positive one. Our dogs give us nothing but love, and at Urban Dog we give that love right back with each and every grooming.

Doggy Daycare

A former speakeasy/men's club, turned doggy daycare and grooming studio, we want your dog to feel relaxed and at home at Urban Dog. We set up our place to look just like a living room. While most doggy daycares and grooming studios are sterile and cold, ours is decked out with couches, lounge tables, a flatscreen TV, and cozy cots. Your dog will think she/he just walked into a friend's home, which in reality, she/he has! Dogs are free to play in the salon, bask in our fenced-in backyard with pool (summer) and surround sound music, or lounge on the comfy furniture.

Often called The Private School of Doggy Daycare, think of the crowd at Urban Dog as the "privileged kids" at school - you know, the polite, sophisticated ones you'd want your children to hang out with LOL! We love all dogs but we only accept the well-mannered ones that play well with others here at Urban Dog.

So rest assured that your dog will be safe while having a ball with his new buddies and he'll come home tired, not wired.

We only use non-toxic, all-natural products in our dog grooming salon.

Everything from the dog shampoos to the floor cleaners are based in essential oils and free of harsh chemicals to keep all our furry friends safe and healthy.
